ABOUT US
The National Wild Turkey Federation
The NWTF — a national nonprofit organization — is the leader in upland wildlife habitat conservation in North America. The NWTF is dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage.
Through vital partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and our members have helped restore wild turkey populations throughout North America — from a mere 30,000 in the entire United States to more than 7 million across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Mission - Dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage.
The Gator Gobblers
The Gator Gobblers chapter was established in January 2011. As a local chapter we represent Gainesville Florida and some of the surrounding areas. With the funds that we raise, we support conservation and preserving our hunting heritage. In our local community we host events that introduce more women, youth, and handicap into the outdoors.
Our Committee
We wouldn't be such a successful chapter without our fully committed and active committee. Each committee member brings different skills that help us achieve our goals.
